A
counterproposal (RM 2016-08B) to the boards’ proposal for the study program

We ask the delegates to consider this proposal as an alternative to the
proposal of the board. In short, we propose that the circle “Critique
& Normative Orders: Challenges for Nordic and Baltic Societies in European
and Global Perspectives” should be taken on to the program, instead of the
circle “Narrative and Memory: Ethics, Aesthetics and Politics”. We also suggest
that, if it is possible and if they wish, means for an ad hoc symposium should
be given to “Narrative and Memory: Ethics, Aesthetics and Politics”. (We do not
exclude the possibility of other ad hoc symposias.)
Further arguments
for our proposal will be presented to the delegates at the General Assembly on
Friday.
